Drone Footage 101: What You Can Expect From Our Aerial Coverage

February 2026

Drone shots add production value no ground-level angle can match. Here’s how we plan and execute aerial coverage safely and legally in Texas.

What Aerial Adds

A single aerial shot can change the whole feel of a project. For real estate, a smooth pass over the property shows the lot size, the roofline, the pool, and the neighborhood context that ground-level photos simply can’t convey. For weddings and events, a slow rise over the venue makes the day feel cinematic. And for brands, an establishing shot from above instantly raises the production value of a promo video.

How We Fly

We shoot aerials with a compact drone that’s quiet, stable, and capable of crisp video and stills. Because it’s small and nimble, we can capture clean footage without the disruption of a large rig. We plan each flight around the light and the shot list, just like we do on the ground, so the aerials cut seamlessly into the rest of your photos and video rather than feeling tacked on.

Safety and the Rules

Drones are regulated, and we take that seriously. We only fly where it’s permitted, we respect airspace restrictions and no-fly zones, and we keep flights well clear of people and property. If a location or condition isn’t safe or legal to fly, we’ll tell you straight and find another way to get the shot. Responsible operation protects you, protects us, and keeps the focus where it belongs — on the footage.

Aerial coverage is available as an add-on on most of our photography and video packages. If you think your project would benefit from a view from above, just ask and we’ll talk through what’s possible for your specific location.
